Hi! My name is Pandora Gosselbauer and I am a Red Seal Metal Fabricator/Fitter 437A who loves connecting with people and sharing skills. I have been welding for 5 years, most of that time in architectural fabrication. I completed my Metal Fabricator/Fitter 437A apprenticeship in 2025, obtained the Red Seal Endorsment in 2026 and I hold welding certifications through the CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) across multiple processes and materials (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW/MCAW & GTAW).
I understand how intimidating it can be to try something new - especially as a woman in a male-dominated field. I had been welding for 3 years before finally trying on women’s welding gloves. I cried out of joy. I didn’t realize what a difference having gloves that fit would be! I didn’t have to take my gloves off between weld passes to use pliers or to unscrew something or to write something down. It was a relief. Now I make sure to have a wide range of welding glove sizes designed for both women and men - my hope is that everyone has PPE that works with them and not against them.
What I have found in the past 5 years is an incredibly supportive community of people across the trades. I want to help the community grow by providing an encouraging and safe environment for everyone to explore welding free of judgment and with properly fitting gloves.
